Waves Waterpark Rules & Regulations
Each bather must shower using warm water, soap, and thoroughly rinse off all soap before entering or re-entering the deck.
Children under the age of 16 are NOT to be left unattended in the waterpark.
NO diapers allowed in the pools or water features. Little Swimmer diapers are permitted.
No person shall pollute the water in any manner. Spitting, spouting of water and blowing the nose in or on the deck are prohibited.
No person infected with a communicable disease or having open sores on his or her body shall enter the facilities.
Eyeglasses must be securely affixed to patrons with head strap.
Bathing suits are required to enter pool facilities.
Swimmers with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentation are not permitted.
Personal, approved life jackets are allowed in wave pool but NOT permitted down slides.
NO floatation toys or water wings allowed in pools or water features.
NO persons shall engage in boisterous play.
NO “outside” food or drinks are permitted in the water park or redemption center.
Alcohol and food purchased from snack bar MUST be kept in designated areas at ALL times.
No glass containers, food or beverage of any description allowed in the pool or on the deck.
Due to the large number of swimmers in the waterpark, the chlorine levels are kept higher than one may be accustomed to, therefore to avoid skin irritation, avoid extended periods in the waterpark and shower immediately upon exit using warm water, soap and thoroughly rinse. The Americana Resort and Waves Indoor Waterpark are not responsible for any fading, bleaching, tarnishing or damage to bathing suits, clothing, jewelry etc.
Telephones for emergency use only and located at all emergency exits.
Hours of operation are subject to change without notice.
Use at own risk – Each attendee needs to have a signed waiver (children – by their parent/guardian) in order to participate, no exceptions.
Any person not honoring the rules will be asked to leave the water park.
NOTE: The hot tub area of Waves Indoor Waterpark is currently closed for upgrades and renovations. We thank you for your patience.
Life Jackets
All children under 8 years of age MUST wear a life jacket and be within arms reach of a parent at all times. Lifeguards have the right to mandate any guest(s) regardless of age, at anytime to utilize a life jacket, if management sees fit. Refusal to do so will result in said guest(s) being asked to leave the waterpark.
Waves Waterpark Attractions
WAVE POOL/BEACH ENTRY POOL
Shallow water – NO diving.
Maximum depth of wave pool in deep end is 5 feet or 1.5 meters.
ACTIVITY POOL
Lifeguard not required for this feature. Parental supervision required.
Shallow Water – NO diving.
Maximum depth – 3 feet or 0.91 meters.
TOT POOL
This area does not require Lifeguards or Attendants. Parental Supervision is required at all times.
Problems with the pool should be reported to the Life Guard station.
Maximum bather load is 47.
Maximum depth of tot pool is 1 foot or 0.3 meters.
AQUA PLAY CENTER
Lifeguard not required for this feature. Parental supervision required.
This is a “0” depth water feature with sprays, fountains, and dumping bucket.
Children under 36 inches tall are not permitted on slide without adult supervision.
Only 1 rider to enter the flume/slide at a time.
Slide must be ridden feet first, lying on your back or in a sitting position.
Wait for the ride to be clear.
At the end of the slide obey all signs and exit quickly.

TUBE SLIDES
Persons under the height of 36 inches tall are NOT permitted on this ride.
Persons between 36 inches and 48 inches MUST wear approved life jacket provided by waterpark and MUST be accompanied by an adult 16 years of age or older on a double inner tube.
Persons over 48 inches may ride single inner tube.
Tubes must be ridden in a seated position facing forward.
Riders MUST wait for attendant start signal before starting ride.
No person shall run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the channel.
At the end of the slide obey all instructions by splash pool attendant and take your tube with you.
Depth of tube slide landing pool is 3.6 feet or 1.1 meters.

BODY SLIDE
Children under 42 inches tall are NOT permitted on this ride.
Life jackets NOT permitted.
Only one rider to enter flume at a time.
Slide must be ridden feet first, laying on your back or in a sitting position.
Riders MUST wait for attendant start signal before starting ride.
No person shall run, dive, stand, kneel, rotate or stop in the channel.
At the end of the slide obey all instructions by shut down lane attendant and exit quickly.
This feature has run out lanes at the end of each slide flume.
