What time can we check in to our room?

Check in time begins at 4:00pm. Guests are more than welcome to stop at the front desk anytime after 2:00pm to use the waterpark. If the room is clean it’s all yours!

What time is check out?

Check out from your room is 11:00am. You may stay to enjoy the waterpark until 2pm on your departure day.

How much is an extra waterpark pass if I’m staying at the hotel?

An extra pass when staying with us is $35.00 all inclusive of fees and taxes. This is a discounted rate from our general admission day passes which are available to the public.

Is there a place to change in the water park?

There are change rooms, showers and washrooms in the water park. Lockers are available in the water park at a charge of $1.00 and $2.00 for larger lockers.

What is the charge for parking?

There is a fee of $25+HST/night for overnight guests and a parking pass will be issued. The charge is per 1 vehicle and is not charged per room. ***Note: We offer free parking to guests who are here for the day or evening only (waterpark passes, wedding guests, day meetings or functions, etc.).

Can we bring our dog with us?

Unfortunately the Americana does not allow any pets within the hotel. There are several pet kennels in the area. For information about traveling to the Americana Resort with a service animal, please click here.

Do you have any smoking rooms?

The Americana is a non-smoking facility. We do offer balconies or walk outs for the convenience of our smoking guests.

Does the hotel offer rollaway cots or cribs/pack n’ plays for infants?

Upon request, we are happy to provide a complimentary pack n play for any guests traveling with young children. Pack n’ plays can be used in any of our room types with a maximum of one pack n’ play per room. Our Superior Two Queen or Accessible Superior Two Queen rooms can also accommodate a rollaway cot bed. Upon request, cots can be added to these rooms at a fee of $20 per night. Please note that rollaway cots are not available for any other room types.

Does the hotel offer child care?

The Americana does not offer this service, however we do have the numbers to babysitting agencies in the area.

Do you have laundry facilities?

We do have laundry facilities onsite. Please ask the front desk for more information.

Do you offer wireless internet access?

Wireless internet access is available to our guests and can be accessed while in the lobby or restaurant. All meeting and banquet facilities also feature wireless internet access.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard cancellation period is 72 hours prior to arrival. Time period varies for groups and special offers – please call for details.

What is your payment policies/deposit information?

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card at the time of booking. The credit card will be pre-authorized and a hold placed on the card in the amount of a $200 Security deposit which is refunded to your card on checkout. The hotel reserves the right to cancel reservations with declined credit cards. A valid credit card must be present upon arrival at the hotel to complete the check-in. Please note that a 12.5% Resort Fee is included in the total for all reservations.

What is the distance from the hotel to the Falls and Clifton Hill area?

The Falls and Clifton Hill area is approximately 3 miles (approx. 5 km) from the hotel. It takes five to ten minutes to drive depending on the traffic. During certain dates there is a shuttle to the Falls area for a small fee. The Americana Resort is also conveniently located on the RED LINE of the WeGo Bus System. Please speak to the front desk for more information.

Can I get a replacement wristband?

For a replacement wristband, you must present your damaged or removed one at front desk. Lost wristbands will not be re-issued. Charges for a new wristband will apply if the original is not available for exchange.

Are towels provided in the Waterpark?

Please do not remove towels from your guest room. Pool Towels are available at the waterpark.

What measures does The Americana have in place to ensure guests have a safe visit at the resort?

The Americana Resort has always held the comfort and safety of our guests and Team Members as our top priority. With guidance from public health officials, medical experts and government regulations, we have implemented a STAY SAFE, PLAY SAFE program. The Americana Conference Resort, Spa & Waterpark has also been awarded a Safe Travel Certification for adopting global health & hygiene protocols.

Is there anything else I should know?

Please Note… Due to the volume of swimmers, chlorine levels are kept higher than in a typical pool. To avoid skin irritation, avoid extended periods in the water and shower immediately upon exit.
